A little bit about Lucrezia:

Lucrezia, a female solo traveler from Italy, contacted us at July, 2022 via our trip planner in order to arrange her trip to Iran for September. She was mostly interested in visiting the locals and experiencing locals’ day to day lives. Here is the list of the expectations she had in mind for this trip:

  • A plan which has combined the history and nature of Iran.
  • Hostels and traditional houses.
  • Explore the local areas and experience locals’ lifestyle.
  • Spending a night at Maranjab desert .
  • Visiting Hormozgan province if possible.

What we did for Lucrezia:

After discussing the details with her via email, we came up with a 14-days plan for her. After reviewing the plan we had prepared, she made some small changes to her hotels and the places she was going to visit in each day, and then the itinerary was confirmed.

Now, let’s dive-in to her day to day destinations:

Day 1 and 2: Tehran

She will start her journey from Tehran, the capital of Iran and on her first day, she will visit Golestan Palace, National Museum of Iran, Treasury of National Jewels, and last but not least the Grand Bazaar. On the second day, she will visit the northern parts of Tehran, such as Niavaran Palace, Sa’ad Abad complex and Darband area.

Day 3: Kashan

On the morning of her third day, she will drive to Kashan with her driver-guide and explore Kashan for the entire day. Some of the places she can visit there are Fin Garden, Tabatabaei Historical House, Agha Bozorg Mosque, and Sultan Amir Ahmad’s bath.

Day 4: Maranjab Desert

On her fourth day, she will head to Maranjab desert to explore its magnificent beauty. While in Maranjab, she can enjoy its beautiful sand dunes and salt lake. She will also spend the night there, so she can rest under its beautiful starry sky.

Day 5,6, and 7: Isfahan

After spending a night in the desert, she will head to Isfahan in the morning. Isfahan holds some of the most beautiful tourist attractions of Iran and therefore she will spend three nights there so she can fully enjoy all of them. Some of Isfahan’s most popular tourist attractions are: Naqshe Jahan Square, Shah Mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Ali Qapu Palace, Si-O-Se Pol, Khajoo bridge, Vank Cathedral.

Day 8 and 9: Yazd

After enjoying the mesmerizing beauty of Isfahan, she will visit Yazd, the city of glorious architecture. In Yazd, gets to visit Jameh mosque, Zoroastrian fire temple, Towers of silence, and Dowlat Abad Garden.

Day 10: Taft

After spending two nights in Yazd, Lucrezia is going to visit Taft city, which is known for its pomegranates and is surrounded by Zagros Mountains. While in Taft, she can visit Cham and Mobarakeh, Darreh Vali waterfall, and Shah Vali complex.

Day 11, 12: Shiraz

Last but not least, Lucrezia will visit Shiraz, one of the most beautiful cities of Iran. En- route to Shiraz she will visit Perspolis (the famous UNESCO World Heritage site), Naqshe Rostam, and Arg of Karim khan. During her stay in Shiraz, she can enjoy a fun tour of the city’s main attractions including Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque, Vakil Bazaar, Tomb of Hafez and Saadi, and Khawju Kermani’s memorium.

Day 13: Shiraz/Tehran

On her last day, she will explore Shiraz until evening and then she will get a flight back to Tehran at night. Upon her arrival in Tehran, she will be transported to Remis Hotel, next to the IKA airport so she can have some rest until it is time for her departure flight back home.
