A little bit about Marianna:
Marianna, 34 years old and from Greece, contacted us through email to request a plan for visiting Iran in April. She and her partner, were looking to cover the most popular cities and tourist attractions of Iran in a 10 or 12 day plan with a reasonable price. The following is their criteria:
- Cultural and Historical tour of Iran.
- Cozy and small mid-range accommodations.
- Private driver-guide for the entire duration of his trip.
- Overnight camping in Shahdad Kalouts .
What we did for Marianna:
After receiving their initial request, we designed and sent her the first version of the plan. She liked the route, but asked to change the included accommodations to more budget-friendly ones. We also excluded some cities from the plan and instead added an overnight camping in Shahdad Kalouts for her.

Now, let’s dive-in to his day to day destinations:
Day 1: Tehran
Marianna and her partner, spent the first day of their trip in Tehran and explored the city center and its main tourist attractions including Golestan Palace, National Museum of Iran, Treasury of National Jewels, and Grand Bazaar.
Accommodation: Hi Tehran Hostel
Day 2: Kashan
On the morning of their second day of stay, they left Tehran for Kashan. While in Kashan, they got to visit Fin Garden, Agha Bozorg Mosque, and some of its most famous historical houses.

Day 3 and 4: Isfahan
The next day, they headed to Isfahan, also known as “The half of the World” . They visited
the following attractions during their two-day stay there:
Si-o-Se Pol, Ali Qapu palace, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Imam Mosque, Qeysarieh Bazaar, Chehel Sotoun Palace, Khaju bridge

Day 5 and 6: Yazd
On their fifth day of stay, they had a morning drive to Yazd and got to visit the following attractions there :
Yazd old town, Yazd Jameh Mosque, Amir Chakhmakh mosque, Zoroastrian fire temple,Tower of silence, Dowlat Abad Garden, and Chak Chak.

Day 7: Kerman- Shahdad Kalouts
Their next destination was the amazing Kalouts of Shahdad, a must-see for anyone travelling to Iran. They stayed in the Kalouts for the night and camped under the flickering of the thousands stars above.

Day 8 : Shiraz
After spending a night in the desert, they headed towards Shiraz in the morning. While driving towards Shiraz, they had a stop at Persepolis and also visited Arg of Karimkhan and Naghsh-e-Rostam.Once they arrived at Shiraz itself, they visited its beauiful attractions such as:
Nasir ol Molk mosque (the pink mosque), Narenjestan Qavam Garden, Vakil bath, Vakil bazaar, Hafezieh & Eram Garden.

Day 9: Shiraz/Tehran
On thier second day in Shiraz, they visited its beauiful attractions such as:
Nasir ol Molk mosque (the pink mosque), Narenjestan Qavam Garden, Vakil bath, Vakil bazaar, Hafezieh & Eram Garden. Later in the evening they took a flight to Tehran and stayed headed to IKA for their departure flight back home.
