What we’ll do?

Zagros mountain is the second highest in Iran and presents a natural barrier for Bakhtiari nomads on their seasonal migration between their winter and summer settlements in Khuzestan and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari/Esfahan provinces. Many of the nomads seasonally also settle inside the mountains and their tents can be found scattered along the roads and mountain paths. Such is also the case along the mountainous Bazoft river between the village of Gazestan and stunning Zard Lime waterfall deep inside Zagros mountains. In our 3-day Zard Lime Waterfall Tour we will take you on one of the most attractive hikes in Iran where we will have opportunity to meet many nomad families living along the river and where at the end of a challenging but wonderful hike we will be rewarded with a waterfall many consider to be the most beautiful in Iran.
