History

Abbasi is a 5-star hotel, it is one of  the oldest and biggest hotels  in Iran. The property has an 18th century architecture and is placed in the historical region of the city, hence, it owns a great deal of importance. The Abbasi’s main building was once the caravanserai of the Madraseh-ye Chahar Bagh; arranged around a huge garden of ponds and towering cedars, and with a view of the madraseh's lovely dome beyond, this is a very special place to stay. Abbasi hotel, now a 300-year-old building in the heart of the city Isfahan, a museum referred to as "Nesf-e-Jahan" (meaning half of the world), a monument which as local and international tourists, historians, leading architects and professional tourists claim, carries the nickname "The world's most beautiful hotel". Here, the spirit living in the patterns and paintings, the interplay of colors and light and the fluidity of beauty have submitted to the capital for the genuine art and drawn on the body of the building, as though being around between the doors and walls is sauntering along a walkway to the past and present, where the patterns come to life drawing the fervor of the beauty of the predecessors' art in the eyes of the beholder. Abbasi has 225 double rooms and suits in 3 floors.

Very beautiful hotel! Like a palace of Thousand Nights. Unfortunately we got a room at the back, on the street so it was a little noisy. The restaurant and the tea house serve good food and the breakfast was a huge buffet with lots of choices.

Nice traditional building, partly renovated. The garden is beautiful and has a lovely atmosphere in the evenings. The breakfast is also a great sortiment of food. The main downside is thstaff. They are rude, impolite, not flexible and not capable of a 5 star service. I would rate the service 1 out of 5 in this hotel.

Not really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Everything in the hotel room looks old, especially the bath room facilities. The rooms are quite far from the main lobby, meaning you may have to walk a long distance to your room. Internet connection is not good. The staff are not that friendly with the guests (but not unfriendly either). As for the good points, I liked the restaurant for lunch and the open-air garden restaurant for dinner. The location is OK, quite central. Overall, just a so-so hotel. I think you can find a better hotel than this one.

Magical place to be. The central square is wonderfull, specially in the evening. To sit and have a tea or drink, or have dinner. Room and service are below expectations. Swimming pool is fine to enjoy while travelling.

I’m sure the main part of the hotel has excellent rooms, but the rooms we had in the added building, tucked away outside of the courtyard are outdated. Not what you’d expect from a hotel with such a grandeur and fantastic entrance. We experienced a strong contrast where the rooms were fitting to a motel. There are other hotel options that also have a good location and are probably better value for money.

This was my first time staying at the Abbasi hotel. The hotel can upgrade you to a suite of rooms overlooking the garden with your own huge balcony, receiving room, bedroom and marble bathroom. but there are some things that can be better, for example, The beds/pillows were not very comfortable.

Abbasi hotel Isfahan is one of the best hotels in the city that has managed to make use of its old architecture and texture to make this place one of the favorite hotels in Isfahan and you will feel it while you are here. You have that part of Iranian history. Although the interior and cleaning service could have been better, this hotel is one of the good hotels overall.

Hotel abbasi Isfahan is one of the oldest hotels on earth, and also a museum. The hotel as a whole is a good place to relax and use the complex's historic surroundings. But you should not expect a luxury hotel in its entirety.

The abbasi hotel Isfahan Iran is one of the best, very popular with locals. The rooms are clean but have very hard pillows. Staff is not so friendly, maybe because they have too many guests to attend

The employees are very professional, but the rooms are not a good values for money, the ac was dripping water and among the tgreen swimming pool only one was working. Better to have dinner or to chill in the tea house than to book a room. However is very central

A bit old fashioned, the Abbasi remains a myth for those who wants to stay a few ights in Isfahan ! The common areas are still breathtaking (especially the breakfast hall, and the entry), and with only minor changes, if you have the 1974 movie "And then, they were none". The bedrooms would need some refurbishments, but overall they remains very good and calm. The location is ideal, within walking distance from all the attractions and the personal is very polite and available. Breakfast as mentioned is an experience : especially for its decorum, but it is also very good and diversified (great coffee, and excellent fruits). The hotels proposes also a outdoor restaurant, in its wonderful garden. The situation is ideal, but it is a little overpriced : prefer to stay there for tea time. I recommand the Abbasi and would definitly come back there!
