Isfahan traditional hotel is the first and oldest traditional hotel in Isfahan. It is located in the Bazaar near the ancient Hakim mosque and Naghshe Jahan square it is set around two court yards in adjoining Safavid and Qajar period homes.

Centrally located - 5-10 minutes from the main square through the bazaar - and with a wonderful inner yard and a cafeteria/breakfast area, this traditional house is an excellent choice! The only problem was that the bathrooms in the rooms had a very low ceiling and we all hit our heads quite a few times trying to brush our teeth or wash our hands.

The male so called Night Manager (did not want to give his name) had an attitude problem - he should be removed asap if the hotel aspire to any decent standards at all. Why keeping malfunction TVs in the rooms? Simply take them away - there are better things to do in Esfahan.

Hotel is beautiful, breakfast is good but the same on both days i stayed with them. The Royal Suite is stunning but the main drawback is that the bathroom is not en suite and you had to go some stairs to the restaurant to get to it. Also i don't understand why they can't provide free water when much cheaper hotels can. Location not good if you have a car as it is in this really small alley.

So far the best hotel we have stayed at in Iran. The location is perfect - very close to all the main attraction sites. The hotel itself is beautiful and the garden inside is adorable. Large and traditional rooms were great for immersing into Isfahan architecture. Not to mention a great breakfast with a selection of different fresh foods. The highlight of our stay was, however, the staff - incredibly helpful, organized, proactive and friendly. They organized a great day trip for us and had a wide range of other trips available. We also had a great time with hotel staff when they took us to Ashura events. Definitely a great place to stay in Isfahan!

The Isfahan Traditional Hotel is a nice traditional house located near the most popular places to visit in Isfahan as the Naqsh-e Jahan square. We spent 3 nights there. The inner patio is beautiful and perfect to take a rest after a day in the city visiting its monuments. The people of the service is nice, speaks english and help you in everything needed, formalities, touristic information and important things. The WiFi works in the hotel and in the room, however, as in other place of Iran is very slow in the morning and not working in the evening and at night. The breakfast is good. There is traditional and western food. The coffee is not special but is OK. The room was OK too. However, its access was a bit complicate due to the not very high roof. The step conducting inside a bit dangerous considering the narrow stepway. In any case, the room was clean and with a good air conditioning. The bathroom is the bad point of the hotel. The W.C. was not properly working, even it was OK for a couple of days. Its access from the shower room was again with a quite low roof. The shower was also not very comfortable (tubes and handshower lose water and look quite old). In general, it is likely necessary a renew of the bathroom. However, it is about a traditional house, so that, in this sense, the difficult accessibility of the room and bathroom can be understood. But it definitely is not apt for tall people.
