Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Tehran to Yazd
Go South!
Runaway from the cold and head toward the warmth of the South! Upon arrival at Tehran international airport, a private transfer will drive you to Mehrabad Airport to take a local flight to Yazd. There, you can spend the rest of the day leisurely exploring Yazd’s old town, listed by Unesco as a World Heritage Site. Head toward Dowlat Abad Garden (Unesco) to enjoy the greenery while being at the doorstep of the desert. Yazd is also a fantastic place to witness Zurkhaneh Rituals, an ancient sport done to the beating of drums, singing, and music. Finish the day in the peaceful atmosphere of one of Yazd's rooftops.

The Desert's Bride
While in Yazd, we'll get some Qottab, the beloved bite-size sweet of the city, from its best confectionary store. Then, we'll visit the Zoroastrian Fire Temple and Fire Temple to learn more about the Zoroastrian religion and its importance in Yazd. We'll also visit the beautiful Friday Mosque and the famous Amir Chakhmaq Complex square, along with the most famous sites of Yazd historical center.

Ancient Civilization
Leave Yazd earlier, to drive towards one of Iran's most famous UNESCO World Heritage Site, Persepolis. Even today some of its remains are kept in the Louvre Museum, but you get to see the real thing in its full glory! Then we'll visit the massive rock carvings of Naqsh-e Rostam, before reaching Shiraz in the evening.

The City of Poets
Let’s begin our last day with the most colorful of all of Iran’s attractions, Nasir-ol-molk Mosque. Today we’re going to have a fun city tour which includes Vakil Bazaar and Qavam House with its fantastic garden. We’ll read Persian poetry at Tomb of Hafez and Saadi, and also visit Khwaju Kermani’s memoriam. Last but not least, we’re going to eat a nice and cool cup of Faloodeh, a traditional Persian dessert that’ll leave a lovely sweet taste in your mouth. Enjoy your evening in Shiraz, because tomorrow, we'll fly to Qeshm to meet the dolphins.
