Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Tabriz
History & Antiquity
Fly to Tabriz in the morning of the first day of your trip.
Aging back some 4,500 years, Tabriz is one of the major historical capitals of Iran. The historical texture of this city makes it perfect for all sorts of walking tours, and the Armenian heritage left here provides the ultimate bible lessons. Among Tabriz’s many attractions, you should never miss the Bazaar of Tabriz (UNESCO World Heritage Site). After that, we may spend some time checking out The Blue Mosque, Tabriz Municipality Palace, Qajar Museum (Amir Nezam House), and El Goli Park (Shahgoli).

A Volcanic Village
We may spend half a day visiting Kandovan Village. This rocky village is one of the only 3 villages of its kind, a must-see for anyone looking to experience Iran off the beaten track. In the remaining time, you can visit whichever attractions you missed the day before.

The Water Goddess
The drive from Zanjan to Kermanshah is going to be about 6 hours, giving us the chance to stop en route at the Hegmataneh, another UNESCO World Heritage Site where the ruins of a very complex and very old city loved by many kings are. Our next stop will be the Temple of Anahita (a water goddess) in Kangavar city. Then we drive to Kermanshah and rest at night to have enough energy for tomorrow's adventure!

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change or modify this itinerary?
Our daily plans within each city are mere suggestions from our travel experts, but once you arrive at any city, you’re free to pick and choose those attractions and activities that interest you the most, without any prior notice or planning. But if you want to change the main framework and schedule of the itinerary (e.g. add extra days or exclude some cities) contact our support team.
Can I put off any activities that don’t interest me?
100%! In our private tours, as opposed to the usual group tours, you always have the freedom to pick and choose between the activities available in each city, and replace the ones you don’t like with the attractions that you find more desirable.
How far in advance do I need to book my trip?
The sooner you book your trip, the higher your chances of finding better hotels available, especially during high seasons such as April, May, September, and October, when good hotels and driver-guides have been sold out for months.
In which languages do you operate this private tour?
Our private tours are available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, and Chinese. But, if you want a guide fluent in a language not specified here, let us know and we’ll do our best to find the perfect person for you.
