Tehran Heritage Hostel is among the most unique hostels in Iran and has been a favorite of anyone who has experienced a night in its big and intricately designed building.
Location & Accessibility
This hostel is located in Baharestan Square, one of Tehran’s most touristy spots, with great access to various subway stations, taxi stand, shopping centers, and handicraft shops.
Lobby & Ambiance
Upon entrance, you’ll have to climb a few short stairs to reach the reception and their welcoming staff.
The lobby has various designated areas for having a warm cup of coffee, reading your favorite book, or hanging out with the other guests. Also, its walls are charmingly covered with various notes and memorabilia left by the hostel’s previous guests.
Rooms & Corridors
Room types include double rooms, Yurts, and dorms, which you can choose from in accordance with your budget.
Yurts are tent-like structures that can house 2 people at a time and re-enact the feeling of staying in Persian nomads’ tents. These rooms are well-ventilated and share public bathrooms.
Double rooms feature the same minimal design but in a bigger space along with a private bathroom.
The dorms are segregated between male and female guests.
Amenities & Services
Tehran Heritage Hostel boasts two buildings connected via a beautiful yard. The yard has a designated smoking area with hookah available and makes for a tranquil space to have lunch.
The main building features a kitchen that all the guests can use to prepare their meals.
