Dear 1stQuest Team, Thank you for asking for my feedback. I wanted to share my experience with you regarding my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, I must say that this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I have ever had in my professional and personal life. I work in finance for a global asset manager, and a quick search of my name will show how frequently I stay at hotels around the world throughout the month. I am very familiar with different hotel standards across various countries, and I do not have unrealistic expectations; particularly when traveling within Iran. However, I do expect a minimum level of cleanliness, comfort, and basic service from an allegedly“5 star hotel”. During my stay, the room was extremely dusty and not properly cleaned. The springs in the bed were so uncomfortable that I experienced severe back pain and was unable to sleep. When I requested an iron, I was told I would need to call the laundry service at 7 a.m., which is highly inconvenient for any guest. Moreover, the checkout experience was extremely unpleasant: I was met with rudeness and unprofessional behavior. I do not require assistance with my luggage or having doors opened for me; on the contrary, I find it rude when hotel staff take my bags without my asking or permission! I’d rather pay more, than to be begged for tips. Which reminds me: The shuttle service, the “so to say” ride form the hotel ,Mr Bidar, insisted on tips. As I politely apologized and told him that I did not have any Rials on me, he said give me euro I’ll change! As I said that it was a large bill, and I was being ironic, he said and I quote: “larger than 500? Cause I can change.” Additionally, when I attempted to take a shower, water came up from the drains, flooding the bathroom floor. For a rate of 80 euros per night for a room in Iran, the room was exceptionally small and cramped, making it very uncomfortable for two people to move around. Not to mention that I am 180 tall and the bed could barely fit my legs. My expectations are simple: cleanliness, courtesy, and efficiency. It is important for you to know that I have been booking this hotel not for myself, but for my mother and grandmother, both of whom are over 65 years old. They have stayed at Novotel before flying abroad to visit me, to make their journey easier. Being very polite and not wanting to cause any inconvenience, they never complained to me about the conditions, but now that I have personally experienced the hotel, I deeply regret booking it for them. Unless I receive a sincere apology and an effort to make amends for this experience, I will unfortunately be forced to cancel my upcoming reservation and will no longer consider your hotel for any future bookings. Furthermore, I will feel obligated to share my experience publicly to help other European travelers make informed decisions. I hope you will take my feedback seriously and respond accordingly. Best regards, Sadaf Poursheikhani

The Novotel (Now called "Rexan") is a comfortable and beautiful 5-star hotel just across the Airport. You can easily access the Airport by crossing a pedestrian bridge, which takes less than 5 minutes. The rooms are very clean and well equipped, and the hotel has a nice restaurant and a coffee shop. I chose to make a late checkout, paying a small fee to stay for a further 6 hours, and it was very easy to do so. I recommend it to those who want a comfortable hotel close to the airport.
