We stayed 3 nights in the hotel Toranj. It is a beautiful traditional house of Yazd, near the most important places to visit in the city (old mosque, new mosque, madrasa ...). The block is entirely made of clay, typical of the old city and many other village in the neighborhood. Several shops and nice rooftops are near whee you can have lunch, dinner, or simply take a lemonade or coffee. The people is very friendly and speaks english and it is prone to help you with everything, even translating with mobile phone your necesites. The room and the bathroom are clean and nice, a good solution for 2 or 3 days. Internet works in the room even slowly as in many other places of Iran. However, it is OK for some days. The breakfast is a nice buffet with traditional and western food. Delicious traditional bread can be found as well. Only there is no coffee... I would suggest to include it, as for European people could be important to start the morning with a coffee. There is free water to be dispensed near the desk. The house is definitely recommendable for your staying in Yazd.

The Toranj hotel is a very nice traditional house located in the center of Yazd. The location is perfect to visit all the important monuments of the city. We stayed 3nights. The room and the bathroom are clean and adequate for all necessities of a brief staying. Internet is working all the day even slowly as in the main places of Iran but it is OK. The breakfast was very good, with traditional and western food. Only there is no coffee. I would suggest to add it on the menu. Tea is good but coffee is very important for people coming from Europe. The service team speaks english or can easily translate your req
