It was totally a decepcion and frustration our stay at Mahinestan Rehab, in Kashan. We were so excited for getting to know the city and enjoying one of the most expensive hotels we payed during our trip, but instead, it was our worst experience in Iran: since we arrived, the guy who would help us with luggage and show us the room, who didn't speak English, was saying things in Persian with a very angry expression. Our bathroom, which was out of the room, was stinky since we arrived and had no visible amenities we could use. For dinner, we decided to eat at their restaurant instead of going out: food was horrible! My mom and my fiancé got sick from the food. Since I saw the buffet, I told the employees I couldn't eat that because everything was dancing in fat and I have stomach problems, so after a while, they offered me another meal, which took so long to arrive (as we saw people coming in after us and receiving the same food I ordered before me). On the next day, for breakfast, it was also horrible, not a meal for the type and price of this hotel. Since we were not running that day, we stood at the hotel till the checkout time in our voucher (12pm). But at 11am, a guy was already knocking at our door and yelling that it was passing our check out time. My fiancé got really upset, my mom hated the hotel, and we didn't have any interest anymore in leaving our luggage there to visit the city. It was such a pity because we hated that experience, which we thought it would the of the best ones in the last city we were visiting. Mahinestan Hotel is a very nice Iranian traditional house. As a popular activity in Kashan is to visit traditional houses distributed in the city, to stay there it is a wonderful opportunity to breath the Iranian tradition. The room and especially the bathroom are big and clean. The breakfast is excellent, with traditional and western food, coffee and tea and very good bread. The wifi is slow as the most place in Iran but it works in the hall. The people of the service is nice and there is also some english speaker. They attended all our necessities, including recommending places to see or booking taxi or snaps. The location of the house is perfect. It is 5 minutes walking to the Bazaar and 5 minutes to Alavi street, place of the main traditional houses to visit and some restaurants. In general, it was a very nice and recommendable experience. The hotel is absolutely charming. There is a big patio full of sofa where to chill out, with plants, birds, soft music and water sound from the fountain. You would stay there forever. The rooms are quite essential: no daily make up, no wardrobe, not even a bedroom light! Bathroom has bad smell, and my room was quite noisy. Staff is very kind, breakfast so-so. Dinner very good. We sure enjoyed the stay in the hotel. Magical house, very friendly and helpfull service and people, quiet and calm hotel. Food is typically Iranian. No special European items on the menu (not neccesary to us, but some creativity in the breakfast could many people make happy). قراءة المزيد

Красивый отель. Удобно подъехать на машине, парковка. Завтрак обычный, достаточно сытный. Полотенца, простыни, номер чистые. Туалет уже слегка потрепанный, крючки для полотенец оторваны. Не следят, жаль. В целом хорошо, но оставаться не стали. Отель облюбовали китайские группы. С 5-6 утра во дворе гвалт, как будто лежишь среди колхозного собрания партийной ячейки.
