The Iran Hotel is run very professionally and the manager/owner (?) is extremely knowledgeable and ready to help you in any way. Rooms are spacious and clean and breakfast is good. The location is excellent. I would definitely stay here again if I would visit Esfahan in the future. Don’t hesitate, book this lovely hotel!

The Cozy Hostel is a nice and, as the name suggests, very cozy. The hostel staff is nice and speaks English well, and the location in central Tehran makes it easily reachable from the airport. The room was good too. It was clean and comfortable, and big enough for all my stuff and then some. I have three points of improvement however. Firstly, there were two showers, one of which had a broken shower head. This made that shower practically unusable, so there was really only one shower available. Secondly, the curtains of my room didn't keep out the light properly, so I would wake up with sunrise. Thirdly, in most hostels I stayed, the tea was free of charge. Here, you get one tea for free with your breakfast, and for every tea after that, you had to pay. However, these minor nuisances did not compare to the hospitality of the host or the comfort of the hostel overall. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hostel to anyone of approximately 30 or older.
